Kansas Common Core Repeal Bill Fails
Kansas became the most recent state to see Common Core repeal efforts falter, when a repeal bill failed to make it out of a House committee.
Efforts to repeal Common Core continue to meet staunch opposition across the country. So far in 2015, repeal efforts have failed or stalled in deeply-conservative states such as Arizona, Mississippi, North Dakota, South Dakota, Tennessee, and West Virginia. No states this year have successfully repealed Common Core, as Kansas is the latest example of the staying power of the high standards.
