The National Network of State Teachers of the Year and the Collaborative for Student Success are proud to partner in offering the Civics Catalyst Fellowship for State Teachers of the Year and Finalists.
The six-month fellowship aims to directly engage fellows in policy and communications training, expert convenings, and a leadership project focused on advancing high-quality civics education. The fellowship will focus on civics in an effort to equip teachers to identify and advocate for the tools and training necessary to advance civics education.
We are looking for teachers with some or all of the following experience within the past 3 years:
- Civics teacher
- Social studies teacher covering some form of civics education
- Leader of after-school civics programs for students such as debate, Model UN, etc.
The Civics Catalyst Fellowship will begin in February, 2025 and conclude in July, 2025. Applications can be submitted using this form and must be received by December 31, 2024.
Thank you for your interest in being a Civics Catalyst Fellow. Reach out to Josh Parrish at jparrish@forstudentsuccess.org with any questions.
